- Inspection observations and condition notes
- Photos taken during inspections
- No real names, email addresses, phone numbers, or personal identifiers are required to use the App.
b) Information Collected Automatically
- Purchase transaction records processed through Apple's StoreKit framework (product IDs, transaction dates, subscription status). These transactions are managed entirely by Apple.
c) Information We Do NOT Collect
- Location data
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Browsing history
- Analytics or usage tracking data
- Contact information
- We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
How We Use Your Information
All data you enter is used solely to:
- Generate inspection checklists, risk scores, and negotiation guidance within the App.
- Produce PDF inspection reports stored on your device.
- Verify your purchase entitlements (via Apple StoreKit).
Data Storage & Security
- All data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.
- Data is protected by your device's built-in security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID).
- We do not operate any servers, databases, or cloud infrastructure.
- If you delete the App, all locally stored data will be permanently removed.
Third-Party Services
The App integrates only with:
- Apple StoreKit — for processing in-app purchases and subscriptions. Purchase transactions are handled entirely by Apple and are subject to Apple's Privacy Policy (https://www.apple.com/privacy/).
We do not integrate with any advertising networks, analytics providers, social media platforms, or other third-party data processors.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the App collects no personal information and stores all data locally, there is no mechanism for children's data to be transmitted to us.

Since we do not collect, store, or process personal data on any server, most data protection requests are fulfilled automatically through the App's local-only architecture.
International Users
The App may be used in multiple countries and regions. Since all data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to any server, your data remains within your device and is subject to the data protection laws of your jurisdiction. No cross-border data transfer occurs.
7a. Legal Basis for Processing (EEA Users)
For users in the European Economic Area, our legal basis for processing data is:
- Contractual necessity — processing your vehicle and inspection data is required to deliver the App's core functionality.
- Legitimate interest — verifying purchase entitlements via Apple StoreKit to provide the correct tier of service.
Since all data remains on your device and no personal data is transmitted to us, no consent is required for data processing under GDPR.
7b. California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident:
- We do not sell or share your personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA.
- We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those permitted by the CCPA/CPRA.
- You have the right to know, delete, and opt out of the sale of personal information. Since we do not collect or transmit personal data, these rights are satisfied by design.
Data Retention
- Free tier: Inspection data is stored on your device. Older data may be removed automatically after an extended period of inactivity to manage device storage.
- BuyerShield+ and Pro: Data is retained indefinitely on your device unless you manually delete it.
- If you uninstall the App, all data is permanently deleted from your device.
- You can delete all data at any time from Settings → Delete All Inspections.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected within the App with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
Do Not Track
The App does not track users across third-party websites or services. We honor Do Not Track signals by design, as we do not engage in any form of tracking.
