Overview

This Privacy Policy applies globally to Smart Loan Payoff Calculator (the "App"). The App runs entirely on-device. We do not upload your entered data (e.g., loan amounts, payment scenarios, calculations) to our servers.

Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

The App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. With your consent (via App Tracking Transparency), we may show personalized ads based on your interests. If you do not grant tracking permission, we will only serve non-personalized ads. Please see the "Advertising" section below for detailed information.

Your data remains private and under your control at all times.

Advertising and App Tracking Transparency (ATT)

The App displays advertisements to support free access to all features. We partner with Google AdMob to serve ads.

App Tracking Transparency (ATT):

When you first use the App, iOS will ask for your permission to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites. This is Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) feature.

  • If you ALLOW tracking: We may show personalized ads based on your interests and activity, which provides a more relevant ad experience and helps support the App.
  • If you DENY tracking: We will only show non-personalized (contextual) ads that are not based on your personal information or behavior.

You can change your choice at any time:

  • Go to iPhone Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking
  • Find "Loan Payoff Calculator" and toggle the setting

Personalized Ads (when tracking is allowed):

  • Ads may be based on your interests and online activity
  • Google may use your advertising identifier (IDFA) for ad personalization
  • Ad networks may build a profile based on your app usage and browsing
  • You may see ads related to products or services you've shown interest in

Non-Personalized Ads (when tracking is denied):

  • Ads are NOT based on your personal information, interests, or behavior
  • Ads are based on contextual information only
  • General location (country/region level, derived from IP address)
  • Time of day and language settings

Information Collected by Google AdMob:

Google AdMob may automatically collect certain technical information:

  • Device information: Device model, operating system version, screen size
  • Ad interaction data: Whether an ad was viewed or clicked
  • General location: Approximate location based on IP address (country/city level)
  • Technical identifiers: IP address, advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS)
  • App usage: App name, App Store ID, session information

When tracking is allowed, additional data may be collected for ad personalization.

This information is used for:

  • Serving ads appropriate to your preferences (if allowed) or region
  • Measuring ad performance and detecting fraud
  • Complying with legal requirements

Your Consent Choices:

You can choose to:

  • Accept: Allow personalized or non-personalized ads with the data collection described above
